Engineer building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. Currently advising enterprises on cloud security architecture, FedRAMP, and responsible AI adoption — with an MBA from Carnegie Mellon Tepper.
I'm a cloud security engineer and consultant based in Seattle with close to a decade of experience designing, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
My career began in the energy sector, where I supported power generation systems on NERC CIP high-impact environments — work that instilled a deep respect for security rigor and operational reliability. From there I moved into blockchain and financial technology, spending several years at tZERO owning GCP infrastructure end to end — Kubernetes, networking, IAM, CI/CD — while driving significant cost optimization and leading the shift to a trunk-based GitOps strategy. As an independent consultant, I helped FinTech startups modernize cloud architecture and accelerate deployment timelines.
Today I serve as a Senior Consultant at RKON, advising enterprise clients on cloud security architecture, FedRAMP authorization, and compliance with NIST 800-53. I'm also helping build RKON's AI advisory practice — developing methodology for AI governance engagements and advising clients on secure, responsible adoption of generative AI within their cloud and security architecture.
I hold an MBA from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business, with concentrations in AI in Business, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship — rounding out the strategic and product thinking that sits alongside my engineering background.
Advising enterprise clients on cloud security strategy, FedRAMP authorization, and responsible AI adoption — and helping build RKON's AI governance practice.
Consulted FinTech clients on cloud architecture, security, and DevOps. Cut $20K/mo in AWS costs and improved deployment timelines by 40%.
Owned GCP infrastructure end to end — Kubernetes, networking, IAM, Cloud SQL, CI/CD. Led cluster consolidation, network redesign to shared VPC, and migration to trunk-based GitOps.
Implemented EDR solutions, architected hybrid cloud networking, and supported NERC CIP compliance for energy clients.
Maintained SCADA systems for 10K+ miles of natural gas transmission and distribution pipelines, and supported Generation Management Systems in a NERC CIP high-impact environment — patching, security audits, and incident response across critical energy infrastructure.
